The inspiration for this post was taken from Psalm 91:2 “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” God cares for us unconditionally, whether we want Him to our not. The greatest proof of His love came in the form of His son Jesus, His death on the cross and His resurrection. That says He cares.
Materials used: Heidi Swapp mist, Kelly Purkey Yes template, stickers from Studio Calico and October Afternoon, washi tape and Caran d’Ache Neocolor II water color crayons. The devotion I used was Hope For Each Day, by the Reverend Billy Graham.
This inspiration comes from Isaiah 55:1, “Come everyone who thirsts…”
Jesus’ invitation is for everyone and anyone to come to Him.
I used Artist Loft water colors from Michaels, the fox stamp and the new days of the week stamp are by Studio Calico, wonderful sticker is by October Afternoon, and my favorite American Crafts Precision Pen .03.
This is not a typical journaling bible post for me. I was encouraged by Shanna Noel’s videos on Illustrated Faith and took a step out of my comfort zone. I even knew I wouldn’t have enough “E”‘s to spell out the title but I was going to be ok with that.
I used a March post from She Reads Truth that really spoke to me. As we near Easter, I find myself reflecting on the awesomeness of the Cross and all that was given to us there. I need this daily reminder of His grace and mercy.
Supplies used: Liquitex Heavy Body Bright Aqua Green, Mister Huey’s Custard Color Mists, circles template by Studio Calico, Kelly Purkey white stickers, Glitzt Design plus sign roller stamp.
