We had our Women’s Retreat this month down in Newport Beach. This journaling is from the second session.
Our speaker spoke on the Holy Spirit and what it means to become bff’s with it.
I remember and comprehend information better when I use both my visual and auditory processing. And I think God speaks to me through songs. Since I started Project Life about 3 years ago, I have tried to include song lyrics in my pages. Now that I’m creating in my Journaling Bible, I’m making connections with lyrics and verses.
I created this entry using the American Crafts Precision Pen 03 and Prismacolor Premiere Color Pencils. I highly recommend both.
I also finished reading “Writing in the Margins” by Lisa Nichols Hickman. At the end of each chapter, there are prompts and activities presented, which I have used to make a handful of entries.
Here I used Prismacolors, some word stickers by Studio Calico and Heidi Swapp’s date stamp.
Head on over to Paper Camellia to see the October kits and how the design team got creative with all the wonderful goodies.
